ESX Server connectivity between ESX and Physical Network Switches

Virtualization allows for great flexibility in the datacenter however also creates different challenges. In this post I will focus on connectivity between ESX and Physical Network Switches. With virtual networking, you can network virtual machines in the same way that you do physical machines, using the same protocols that would be used with physical switches. However, different approaches are available when designing and implementing link aggregation for your virtual Infrastructure. Please refer to the articles below to get a clearer understanding of the design of the networking capabilities in VMware and how that design affects deployment in the datacenter.
